Hello — I’m Josh, the founder of JW Invertebrates. Based in Liskeard, Cornwall, I’ve spent over 20 years caring for, breeding, and studying a wide range of exotic species. My passion for the hobby has grown into a trusted, UK-based source for isopods, bioactive clean-up crews, and high-quality invertebrates for sale.

What i do
I specialise in breeding a wide variety of isopods, including well-loved genera such as Armadillidium, Cubaris, Porcellio, and many others. Whether you’re looking to start your first colony or expand a serious collection, I’m committed to offering strong, vibrant cultures raised with care.
In addition to isopods, I also keep and breed multiple other invertebrate species — including cockroaches, millipedes, slugs, and more. My aim is to provide interesting, healthy, and ethically produced invertebrates for sale to the UK exotic pet and bioactive community.
